yeah that was a great Christmas. Thats the one where I found out my husband RICK C%#$^&@R was having a 'passionate friendship' with W^$%A H(%)$_N, the county highway supervisor ... and his boss. Wasnt the first time this had happened to her....just wasnt supposed to happen to ME! But happen it did and world got crazy and confusing for a long long time and I wonder even now, will the pain go away for good this time? Is today the day? Or maybe tomorrow....

I love Google. I hate Google.

Google charged me twice for a cancelled order. This caused a flurry of overdraft fees and more trouble than Google checkout is worth. I'll never use it again. Why you charged me twice for a cancelled order is beyond me, and has cost me upwards of $300 - FOR NOTHING! And the screwed up part is - I have NO RECOURSE!

No thank you, Google Checkout. No more for me!

Prejudice Against Tattoos

My elderly father, always against tats. Finally, I revealed mine and he continues to be mystified by them. Back in the day, he would have beat me, disowned me and berated me constantly about them. Now, he just looks in wonder. But it brings to mind all the things that people hide away inside, their little sins, their errors. In the course of taking over his ~life~ because he could no longer do it himself, I discovered many things about my dad, some of which I suspected, some things new and heart breaking. Not for me but for my mother. If she knew or suspected, she never said. That was the way of that era. So I got tattoos, big deal. marks me as a sinner? Big deal there, too. So what!? I am not ashamed to say I am a sinner and here are the marks of my deeds. These images are mine, they 'mean' to ME, they to not 'mean'to anyone else. Well maybe one or two people whose names are on me...so to me they are a part of my journey through life, Can't go back and change it - or remove the presence of the ink either. Well, you can, but you get my meaning.

Heavy sign. intarnetz is sick today, so slow. Digital Bridge, great company. I'm rural and in a fringe area, so I cut them the slack. But its a great product. Even if it makes me crazy because I haven't been able to update my blogs n tweets like I want to.

Guess I'll clean house for my memorial day bash on Sunday. Friend is having baby #2, so we're giving her a SPRINKLE! No shower, just a sprinkle!

Yesterday was my 50th birthday. My friend Pam calls, and wants to take me out. But first, we're gonna stop and pick up Gay so she can go too. Gay happens to be at Pizza King for a grad party, so we're gonna swing in and get her. Do I suspect anything? NooOOOooOOoOOooo! and walk RIGHT INTO a full on surpriiiiiise party! Holy Moly am I gullible or WHAT?

Yeah yeah, or what is the right answer...that was May, this is July so maybe I'll actually get the pix from her to post.

My son Joe in '96 and his friend Wes. Wes was almost 2 ft taller than Joe - they were best friends and always clowning around.

I stepped into Joe's room and caught them....doing what i don't know but it was funny as hell!

Joe has 'fruit leather' on his face, and Wes, well, Wes is wearing a jock strap on his face. I think it was a replay of Silence of the Lambs, but there are some things a mother just doesn't wanna kno.....

I'm Gonna Be A GraaaaaandMa!

Just got back from good ol' East Texas. Gosh, for being a vast and forsaken countryside, they sure are proud of their real estate! Man, its pricey there...lol but not like the California pricey I was used to! Word on the street is, its the East/West coast kids diving inland for "cheap" homes after they've gone broke. Just a word to them: STOP IT! Wait til I find me a place before you drive up home prices! Either that or go somewhere I'm not interested in!

Thought for the day, from my twitter yesterday; I stopped in Dunkin Donuts for what else - a donut! And there they are selling DD coffee mugs - you may have seen the logo, "America Runs On Dunkin". Well, if thats the case, WHY are they stamped "made in China" on the bottom? Ahem - WRONG!

Wrong Wrong Wrong!

Buy American, unless absolutely unavoidable, buy American. Which leads me to question: Would you pay more for an American made item if a similar item were available at a lower cost, but made in another country?

Today is my dad's 92nd birthday! He is doing so well, considering the beating his body has taken over his lifetime. I keep saying, when the end of the world comes, there'll be cockroaches...and my dad!

And speaking of dad, and the pending baby, we're thinking of moving to Texas, so that he can be nearer his first-ever greatgrandchild, which opens up all SORTS of confusing questions,like: Geepers, I just bought the house I'm in now, not even unpacked and I gotta move AGAIN? Good thing is...I'm not unpacked!

More on that later, gotta go have me a cuppa with the muffin I got at the dunkin yesterday.....
